What is the difference, for example, between Legal and Common/Natural Law?
Legal deals with dead entities like cargo for shipping contracts, objects, and legal fictitious. Legal entities such as Limited Companies, Corporations, including cattle, and in past times slaves. It is often called Maritime law, the Law of the sea and is by that nature authoritarian as the captain of a ship must be obeyed if the ship is to function in difficult circumstances like bad weather.
Whereas, Common law, Natural Law, the law of the Land, deals with the living! It is generally unwritten but has for its direction the laws 'Do no harm, no loss no injury, no fraud and be honorable in one's contracts between living people.' One could say natural law is based on biblical principles with a view to how people should comport themselves in gatherings.
Conclusion: Dead entities don't exist except in the world of fiction.

Sheriff vs Police
A policeman or woman works for a corporation. A sheriff has an oath or declaration to the Common Law court.
A Policeman/woman takes his oath to the Crown corporation and does not take their oath to serve and protect living Men and Women.
The last Policeman I asked to tell me his oath refused to do so, I wonder what he is hiding? He said I don't have to do that!
A policy man is another name for a policeman who has authority over other corporations such as legal persons!
Conclusion: A policeman is working for a fictitious corporation, he works as a fictitious person. Whereas a common law sheriff works in the land of the living as a living man or woman and deals with real flesh and blood people.
